Coaching is not...

Mentoring

A mentor shares their experience, knowledge, and advice to help someone navigate a particular path. A coach, by contrast, helps you discover your own answers through powerful questions, reflection, and accountability.

Counselling

Counselling often focuses on understanding and resolving specific emotional challenges, difficulties, or experiences from the past. Coaching focuses primarily on the present and future, helping you move towards your goals and create positive change.

Therapy

Therapy is designed to help people heal psychological distress, mental health challenges, trauma, or emotional difficulties. Coaching is not a healthcare service and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Instead, coaching supports personal growth, self-awareness, wellbeing, and purposeful action.
